JCI Malta and JCI La Valette organised an online business breakfast in light of women’s day in March 2021 featuring a panel of inspiring speakers and moderated by VP for Partnerships and Training Fran Moisa. During this panel, we looked into whether the glass ceiling has been broken, or whether it is simply just cracked. The purpose of the panel was to bring together women leaders and tap into their experience in achieving their roles. We discussed how they did it, what advice they had for aspiring women CEOs and other leadership positions, what are the skills needed at C-Level, and how to develop those skills to give themselves the best possible chance. We also explored the topic of quotas on boards for women. All participants also received a goodie box symbolising the breakfast element that would have been part of the event had it happened in a physical setting. The panel was made up from:
