Extempore or Off the Cuff Public Speaking is a favourite skill in JCI, so as part of the JCI Malta National Convention 2021 was dedicated to an Off the Cuff Public Speaking Competition. Although only four people signed up before the event, three others decided to give it a shot and entered the competition just before it started! This is part of JCI – taking on challenges and experiencing new opportunities.

The seven participants were put on the spot and had to talk about randomly selected famous people, places, and an object drawn from a bag. These seven where then whittled down to three finalists, with the winner being Matthew Caruana who won a book on… public speaking!
