The fifth session of the course is titled You Are What You Eat (Mental Health & Nutrition) and it will focus on how we can use food as a mode of self care in order to improve our relationship with food as well as our mind and body.

When we’re busy trying to get things done, it is not difficult to forget to take care of ourselves properly. It starts with skipping a meal to reach a deadline, to working way into our personal time, to sleeping less hours to get more work done, and to develop unhealthy habits just to be able to be more productive. Such behaviours can lead us to neglect ourselves and our wellbeing, and that is why this year, JCI Malta wants to help you break those habits via its 6-session Self-Care Course starting in April. The course is sponsored by AE Business Advisors.

The fifth session of the course is titled You Are What You Eat (Mental Health & Nutrition). Have you heard this saying? It is used quite often. This is because what we consume can impact our mental and physical health. During this workshop we will focus on how we can use food as a mode of self care in order to improve our relationship with food as well as our mind and body. You will have the space to reflect on your current self-care practices and learn about new ones that can be implemented.
