When we’re busy trying to get things done, it is not difficult to forget to take care of ourselves properly. JCI Malta wants to help you break unhealthy habits via its 6-session Self-Care Course starting in April. The third session of the course is titled Mindfulness & Self-Compassion and during this session we will provide an introduction to mindfulness practice, including the dispelling of some common myths. A small selection of practical exercises will help us link the concept with everyday embodied mindfulness practice.

When we’re busy trying to get things done, it is not difficult to forget to take care of ourselves properly. It starts with skipping a meal to reach a deadline, to working way into our personal time, to sleeping less hours to get more work done, and to develop unhealthy habits just to be able to be more productive. Such behaviours can lead us to neglect ourselves and our wellbeing, and that is why this year, JCI Malta wants to help you break those habits via its 6-session Self-Care Course starting in April. The course is sponsored by AE Business Advisors.

The third session of the course is titled Mindfulness & Self-Compassion. During our Mindfulness and Self-Compassion workshop, we will provide an introduction to mindfulness practice, including the dispelling of some common myths.
