Are you able to speak about any topic if you’re put on the spot? This is your chance to find out!
A casual and fun ‘off the cuff’ (extempore) public speaking competition will be part of the JCI Malta National Convention 2021 under the guidance of Keira Keogh, Extempore Public Speaking Competition winner at JCI World Congress 2019, and Giselle Borg Olivier, Extempore Public Speaking Competition winner at the JCI European Conference 2020.
No experience is needed. A brief introductory workshop will be given to all participants just before the competition starts, and then it’s all down to skill and wit!

- Open to anyone aged 18+.
- All participants must present a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate. Anyone without a certificate will not be allowed to enter and no refunds will be given.
- Participants can either pay €10 and attend only the Off the cuff public speaking competition, or they can pay to attend the entire conference – tickets from here https://jci.org.mt/shop/national-convention/, or choose a daily ticket.
- No refunds will be given to participants who fail to show up.
