2021 Seedgreen 3rd place winner – “Ecowash” by Amy Sargent |

The aim of the initiative is to protect the sea and marine life from the chemicals contained in the dish soap we find in stores. Each family uses a certain amount of soap to wash the dishes every day, at home as well as on yachts and ships. The amount of damage we are doing is of a worrying level and we can avoid it. Ecowash is the first dish soap to be manufactured locally from natural ingredients, made from plants and to disintegrate completely in the sea. With Ecowash we can reach every home and marine vehicle in Malta and Gozo to continue to fight the fight against climate change from the kitchen.
