JCI Think.Speak.Act! project aimed at empowering young people to improve thinking and speaking skills to become better active citizens. Through the project, over hundred young people in Malta were empowered through training from international and local trainers, workshops with established leaders and networking with like minded fellows. Following five training sessions, participants had the opportunity to experience active citizenship by working in teams and share what they gained by organising short training workshops for other young people. At the end of the project, a tool kit and short training videos were published and these are available hereunder.
The Project was financed by the European Union through the Youth in Action Programme. The workshops were held at the Palace Hotel in Sliema and the active citizenship exposures were held at Malta International Airport, the Agency for the Welfare of Asylum Seekers and at the Haz-Zabbar Open Air Greek theatre. Participation was Free of Charge. For more information or to book a place contact Gavril Flores on +356 79020785.
