The annual tradition of our National Public Speaking Competition is back! One winner will have the amazing opportunity to represent JCI Malta at the JCI European Convention this June in Bruges, Belgium. Participants need to be based in the Maltese islands and aged 18 to 40. An introductory in-person session with former JCI Public Speaking Competition winner, Anthony Galea, is being held on the 24th March where participants will be given tips and tricks for public speaking. Following that an off-the-cuff public speaking exercise will be held so that all participants can practise impromptu public speaking in an informal and fun environment.
Participants will then compete for the winning title on an individual basis during the semi-final and final on the 9th April, hosted at the MCVS Volunteer Centre in Valletta in the presence of three judges who are experts in both public speaking and JCI competitions at an international level.
Participation is FREE for registered JCI Malta members (ask your Local President for the discount code), and at a fee of €10 for non-members.
The winner of the competition will need to be a registered paid member of JCI Malta to be able to represent JCI Malta at the European Convention.
