This six-part leadership programme will help form the foundation of a leadership ethos focused on adding value where we know our strengths deliver best, while continuously sharpening our leadership skills where we see there is room for improvement.
Each workshop will last for 2 hours and will be interactive, engaging and collaborative.

session 6. TEAM DYNAMICS | 7 JULY
In our final workshop we will reconcile all the themes addressed to creating a team dynamic that can withstand a pandemic. In this session we will explore what great teams are made of, how one’s weakness is an opportunity for growth and threats only but the beginning of greatness.

session 5. INCREASING YOUR MESSAGE'S SHELF-LIFE: SPEAKING FOR YOUR LEGACY | 14 JUNE
Words can move mountains, but sometimes we find it even difficult to move ourselves with what we tell ourselves. How can one’s message influence a generation? How can one’s sermons create a movement? How can one’s speech bring down a nation? The key is Impact. Mastering the art of speaking with great impact will allow you to build following, through emotion and trust. In this workshop we will see how by understanding the construct of trust we can stir emotion and leave a legacy that goes beyond our physical presence.

SESSION 1. FLOW: FOCUSING WITH INTENT AND PURPOSE | 17 FEBRUARY
Like a river flows constantly as long as the source is replenishing, our mind and concentration will determine how effective we are at achieving the results we set for ourselves (and others). Flow is a concept used in ultimate performance. It is often referred to as being “in the zone” where nothing else matters, time stands still and your energy and focus is entirely consumed to deliver the intended result. In this first workshop we will identify and work on creating your ideal Flow State!

session 2. ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: OWNING YOUR CAPE | 17 MARCH
We wear many diverse hats during the course of our days and lives. So much so that at times we forget who we are supposed to be and how we should behave or act. During this session we will own each and every one of these hats, because they matter! The root to happiness is living a life full of purpose where all the different hats fulfil who we are rather than pull us apart.

session 3. MANAGING EXPECTATIONS: 20/20 VISION IN WORK AND LIFE | 14 APRIL
The onset of digitisation, from the launch of the world wide web to social media platforms, has opened doors we could not imagine. It has led us to see things we would have never heard and to aspire to things we would have hardly dreamt. However, we need to be careful what we wish for, because we could well be in a position to bring these about while being unprepared for what it really means. Managing expectations is all about keeping your eyes firmly on the prize, being open and transparent with your communication and at all times, being authentic about who you are and why you are doing something.

session 4. POSITIVE INTELLIGENCE: FROM HIJACK TO SAGE | 10 May
Our mind is the most powerful thing we possess. It has the capacity to create or destroy our reality. It is the most powerful memory bank that exists with the potential to, literally, stop us in our tracks from doing great things, if it deems it most appropriate for our safety. During this workshop we will look at how our mind ‘talks to us’ and influences the things we do and don’t do by analysing our internal hijackers, while also looking at how, with intent and purpose, we can turn a hijack into great sage.
