 JCI Malta 30th Anniversary Pin Design Competition Terms and Conditions

 

  1. Eligibility
    • The competition is open to all residents of Malta.
    • Participants must be 18 years or older. If under 18, a parent or guardian’s consent is required.
  2. Submission Guidelines
    • Designs must be original and created solely by the participant.
    • Each participant can submit multiple designs.
    • Submissions must be received by Thursday 15 August 2024 at 11.59 PM.
    • Designs should be submitted in JPEG, PNG, PDF format via the online form.
  3. Selection Process
    • A panel of judges selected by JCI Malta will review all submissions.
    • The winning design will be chosen based on creativity, originality, and relevance to JCI Malta’s 30th anniversary theme.
    • The winner will be announced on 31 August 2024.
  4. Intellectual Property
    • By submitting a design, participants grant JCI Malta an exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display the design for the production of pins and any other purposes deemed appropriate by JCI Malta.
    • Participants agree that JCI Malta may alter, modify, or adapt the design as necessary for production and other uses.
    • The artist will be credited and acknowledged in all instances where the design is used by JCI Malta.
  5. Acknowledgement
    • The winning artist will be credited by name whenever the design is used.
    • JCI Malta will provide a link to the artist’s website or social media, where applicable, in any digital displays of the design.
  6. Prize
    • The winner will receive a set of the produced pins and a mention in the speech during the 30 year anniversary gala event. Their work will also be promoted during said event.
    • The winner will receive 2 free gala-tickets for the 30th Anniversary Gala.
    • The winning design will be produced and distributed by JCI Malta, with sponsorship from Corporate Gifts Malta.
  7. General Conditions
    • JCI Malta reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions.
    • JCI Malta is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected entries.
    • Participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all respects.
